Web Browsing Will Move to Mobile

SAN FRANCISCO - Slowly but surely, the activity of surfing the Internet by using a personal computer (PC) will be abandoned. According to ABI Research data, at least 3.8 billion handsets will be used for browsers in 2015.

According to ABI Research senior analyst Mark Beccue, web browser for mobile devices is growing at two different paths.

"On one side of a sophisticated browser, which we call a full Internet browser, will be found in all smart phones and more and more enhanced. Browsers in smart phones will be speeding, because they have a powerful application processor, expanded memory capacity and screen size and resolution memadaim, "said Beccue told TG Daily, Wednesday (04/08/2010).

"Full Internet browser typically requires approximately 64 MB of memory to run it. The real key to the growth of full Internet browser at a high end mobile phone features are dimasalah price," he said.

While the second is a limited category of mobile browsers, where the browser is also gaining in popularity.

"A new family of browsers has emerged, based browser (or client-server or compression) proxy, has been shown by Opera Mini. And this is a success," he added.
