Johannesburg - German impressive game was stopped well by Spain in the semi-final match. Now La Furia Roja will do the same thing on their opponent in the final, the Netherlands.
Defeating two strong teams England and Argentina, each with a score of 4-1 and 4-0 must be overcome to make the German seeded Spaniard was still to appear casual.
But what happened instead of the German players seemed difficult to drain the balls and strikes. Possesion tikitaka ala Spanish football and dominating most of the game. As a result Der Panzer was defeated 0-1.
Dutch, German uses the same formation, 4-2-3-1, and launch attacks from Nigel De Jong and Mark van Bommel who drain the ball to Wesley Sneijder whose job as a playmaker.
So Spain will apply the same treatment in the Netherlands with De Oranje hope the players will be hard to develop his game. And 'forces Matador' was already qualified to play that strategy since the beginning of this tournament.
"In the semi-finals of the German desire to dominate the ball and play with the 'weapon' to them. But we took over control of the ball and forcing them to survive," said striker David Villa on Sky Sports.
"We forced them to play in the background. We hope that the Dutch like it too, they want to play and they will attack," he continued.
"We will make them difficult to get the ball. If we can do as against Germany, then we will be able to achieve victory," concluded collectors 43 goals for Spain.

Puyol sends Spain into Final
First Europe and now, possibly, the world for Spain, who won through to the Final of South Africa 2010 with a 1-0 victory over Germany in Durban. Carles Puyol's 74th-minute header repeated the single-goal triumph over Germany that secured La Roja the European title two years ago and now only the Netherlands stand between them and a first FIFA World Cup™ title.
Whatever the outcome at Soccer City on Sunday, there will be history made with a new name on the Trophy after Spain produced their best performance of these finals to end Germany's hopes of an eighth Final appearance and secure their first. Joachim Low’s men, missing the suspended Thomas Muller, were unable to repeat the scintillating displays with which they swept aside England and Argentina and, as in 2006, suffered the anguish of semi-final defeat.
While Germany were playing in their 12th FIFA World Cup semi-final, this was Spain's first, although it was business as usual for Vicente del Bosque's side, who dominated possession. Indeed Spain might have had an early goal when Pedro, making his first start of the finals in place of Fernando Torres, slipped a through-ball to David Villa after just six minutes. Clear of the Germany defence, Villa produced a sliding finish but Manuel Neuer was out of his goal fast to deny the Spaniard.
There was another nervy moment to follow for Low's men after 14 minutes. From a short corner, Andres Iniesta drove in a centre that Puyol met with a flying header that, to the relief of the Germans, cleared the crossbar. Spain were dominating possession – more than 60 per cent in the game's first quarter – but Germany, happy to sit deep and continue the counter-attacking game that had brought them such reward in previous matches, began to offer a threat. Lukas Podolski played in Mezut Ozil on the left and he duly supplied Miroslav Klose on the edge of the box, but the Bayern Munich forward was crowded out.
Iker Casillas was called into action for the first time just after the half-hour to turn behind a low 30-yard drive from Piotr Trochowski, the man brought in to replace Muller. On the stroke of half-time, Germany finally picked a hole in the Spain defence when Ozil broke into the box on to a pass from Klose. As Sergio Ramos challenged, the German midfielder went to ground but referee Viktor Kassai waved play on.
The second half began like the first, with Spain threatening Neuer's goal as Xabi Alonso drove narrowly wide from 25 yards, then Villa curled another attempt wide of the same post. The pressure intensified with the hour approaching and Germany's goal was lucky to survive intact. Xavi's low shot drew a fingertip save from Neuer and as Per Mertesacker dawdled over his clearance, Iniesta nipped in and drove a low ball across goal that the lunging Villa was within a whisker of reaching at the far post. With Germany still unable to clear their lines, Pedro then fired wide.
Low sought to change things, sending on Marcell Jansen in place of Jerome Boateng and, later, Toni Kroos for Trochowski. It was Kroos who had Germany's first attempt of the second half in the 69th minute, meeting Podoski's far-post cross with a side-footed shot that Casillas beat away.
However, with 16 minutes remaining, the decisive goal came at the other end. From a corner by Xavi, Puyol leapt above team-mate Gerard Pique and powered a header past Neuer. Pedro could have ensured a bigger margin of victory in the closing stages but he allowed Arne Friedrich to dispossess him after bursting through in a two-on-one with substitute Torres. It did not matter in the end, Spain's third successive 1-0 win carrying them into their first Final. Read More..

Admit Gol, Neuer Say Stupid Referee
Bloemfontein - German goalkeeper Manuel Neuer called referee Jorge Larrionda controversy has made the foolish decision on last 16 matches between Germany against England.
Goalkeeper Neuer nearly collapsed twice in the gap of time near each other. Lucky, a Frank Lampard's shot which hit the bar and past the goal line, was disallowed by the referee.
"I do not react to anything because I just concentrate and try to catch the ball quickly. But, when on the field I guess the ball was over the line and I think the score has changed, "said Neuer as reported by AP, on Monday (6/28/2010).
"After the game, I was in doping control room and saw a rerun on television. Sure enough, the ball was over the line and the goal for England. Referee make stupid decisions that benefit us and harming the UK, "continued Neuer.
But, if indeed goals Neuer insisted Lampard was passed. His team will continue to earn the victory. "It was an incident. When still a goal, I believe we remain strong in the second round and still win matches, "continued this 04 Schalke's goalkeeper.

South Korea join Argentina in World Cup last 16
(CNN) -- Argentina booked their place in the second round of the World Cup after a 2-0 win over Greece and were joined by South Korea, who secured their berth with a thrilling 2-2 draw against Nigeria.
Late goals from Martin Demichelis and Martin Palermo maintained Argentina's 100% record as they booked a last 16 knockout match with fellow Latin American side Mexico.
Nigeria and South Korea battled it out for second spot in the group in a game that swung one way and then the other in Durban.
Nigeria took an early lead through Kalu Uche but Lee Jung-Soo equalized. Park Chu-Young then put South Korea ahead before Yakubu leveled from the penalty spot.
Nigeria poured forward in search of the goal that would have put them through at the expense of their opponents but they couldn't find a winner. South Korea will now play Uruguay in the second round.
Argentina 2-0 Greece
Argentina coach Diego Maradona rested strikers Gonzalo Higuain and Carlos Tevez as Diego Milito and Sergio Aguero came into the starting line-up.
Greece adopted their familiar defensive approach but they struggled to contain a potent Argentina side in the opening half.
Maradona's side came close to opening the scoring when Sergio Aguero powered into the area, but the Atletico Madrid striker's effort was parried by Greece 'keeper Alexandros Tzorvas.
Seconds later Juan Sebastian Veron stang the goalkeeper's palms with a fierce drive from distance.
Tzorvas was grateful to defender Vasilis Torosidis in the 32nd minute as he blocked a goal bound Aguero shot after the 'keeper had spilled Diego Milito's cross.
The goalkeeper was busy again soon after with a double save -- first from Maxi Rodriguez's shot, then from Lionel Messi's curling effort.
Greece's first chance of the game came just after the break when Georgios Samaras worked his way into the area before firing wide of the target.
But despite needing more than a point to go through due to the score in the Nigeria versus South Korea game, Greece continued to sit back.
They paid the price in the 77th minute when defender MartÃn Demichelis smashed home a loose ball in the penalty area.
Messi nearly made it two in the closing stages as he jinked into the area before rifling a shot against the post.
Veteran striker Martin Palermo, on as a substitute, then made the game safe when he slotted home a rebound after Messi's shot had been saved.
Nigeria 1-0 South Korea
Nigeria and South Korea met in Durban knowing that a win for either side would more than likely secure their passage into the next round.
In the 17th minute Nigeria took the lead as Chidi Odiah's right wing cross was turned home by Kalu Uche.
Midfielder Chinedu Ogbuke very nearly doubled Nigeria's advantage with a powerful shot from distance but the ball flew the wrong side of the upright.
Kalu Uche went close soon after when his thunderous 30-yard drive cannoned back off the post with the 'keeper beaten.
But in the 38th minute South Korea equalized when Lee Jung-Soo met Ki Sung-Yuen's free-kick at the back post, to volley into the net.
The whole complexion of the group changed in the 49th minute when Park Chu-Young's curling free-kick wrong footed 'keeper Vincent Enyeama and nestled just inside the post.
Yakubu then spurned a glorious chance to draw Nigeria level, missing the target from just six yards out. But moments later he redeemed himself, scoring from the penalty spot after Kim Nam-Il fouled Ogbuke.
Argentina's late strikes meant Nigeria just needed a goal to qualify at South Korea's expense and they went in desperate search of it.
Substitute Obafemi Martins nearly grabbed it when he went clean through but his chip past the 'keeper dropped agonizingly wide of the post.

Cameroon knocked out as Denmark win puts Dutch into second round
(CNN) -- Cameroon became the first team to be eliminated from the World Cup in South Africa after Saturday's 2-1 defeat by Denmark, which made the Netherlands the first team to reach the second round following an earlier 1-0 victory over Japan.
African teams had held high hopes ahead of the first tournament to be held on the continent, but Cameroon are going home early after a second successive defeat and the hosts are also on the verge of exiting following Wednesday's 3-0 loss to Uruguay.
Cameroon took the lead through star striker Samuel Eto'o, but Denmark rallied thanks to an inspirational performance from winger Dennis Rommedahl, who made one goal and scored the winner.
The Dutch are top of Group E after two victories thanks to Wesley Sneijder's second-half winner in Durban, while Denmark and Japan will determine the second team to reach the knockout stages when they clash on Thursday, both having three points.
Japan have a slightly better goal difference and can qualify with a draw.
Denmark 2-1 Cameroon
Cameroon star Eto'o has been one of the poster faces of the tournament, and he became the fourth player from his country to score at more than one World Cup after being restored to his more customary central striking role by coach Paul Le Guen.
The Inter Milan forward punished the Danish defense after Christian Poulsen inexplicably gave the ball away to Pierre Webo in the 10th minute in Pretoria.
The lead lasted just 23 minutes as Rommedahl broke free down the right and delivered a superb low cross into the path of striker Nicklas Bendtner, who slid the ball into the net.
That triggered a frantic end to the half as Jon Dahl Tomasson had a goalbound shot blocked by Cameroon midfielder Alex Song, who had given the ball away in the first place, then Eto'o hit the post after a similar chain of events at the other end and Achille Emana ineffectually flicked the ball at Danish goalkeeper Thomas Sorensen when he should have scored.
In the second half, Webo missed a chance to go ahead and Cameroon immediately went behind as Bendtner set up Rommedahl on the counter-attack.
The veteran winger cut inside a retreating Jean Makoun and curled in a left-foot effort, with Cameroon full-back Benoit Assou-Akotto caught out of position in the other half.
Denmark should have added to that 61st-minute goal but captain Tomasson shot straight at goalkeeper Hamidou Souleymanou after clever play by Rommedahl on 70.
Cameroon kept pouring forward in a brave attempt to stay in the tournament, and Poulsen inadvertently made a crucial block with his face from a goalbound shot by 18-year-old substitute Vincent Aboubakar while Sorensen did well to deny Emana again.
"We missed the required coolness in front of goal," Le Guen told reporters. "We didn't finish very well, but I feel like we gave everything we could."
Denmark coach Morten Olsen was not impressed by his team's performance.
"We made far too many elementary mistakes and I can't allow that from my players. We must correct that," he said. "I wasn't happy, but they fought heroically. Some didn't play well, but they fought."
Netherlands 1-0 Japan
Midfielder Sneijder scored the only goal at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in the 53rd minute with a vicious, swerving shot that deceived Japan goalkeeper Eiji Kawashima, who could only palm the much-criticized Jabulani ball into his own net.
The Dutch, two-times losing finalists in soccer's showpiece event, should have made it 2-0 late on in the game when substitute Ibrahim Afellay -- who replaced Inter Milan star Sneijder -- was denied by Kawashima after latching onto a through ball from Eljero Elia.
Japan, who created a number of half-chances throughout the match, had a good opportunity to equalize in the dying seconds of the game, but substitute Shinji Okazaki shot narrowly over the bar.
The Netherlands, again missing injured star forward Arjen Robben, struggled to break down a tenacious Japan side much as they did in the first half against Denmark before going on to win that match 2-0 thanks to a fortunate own-goal.
Dirk Kuyt was closest to scoring when his spectacular overhead effort was blocked, while Japan's best chance -- despite several impressive attacking moves -- was a 38th-minute volley from Daisuke Matsui that was comfortably saved by Dutch keeper Maarten Stekelenburg.

Bebeto backs Brazil coach Dunga to succeed at World Cup
Johannesburg, South Africa (CNN) -- Brazilian World Cup winner Bebeto believes his country's current crop of stars are capable of earning a record-extending sixth title in South Africa.
The former striker, now 46, was a member of 1994 team that triumphed in the United States along with the likes of Romario and captain Dunga, who is now Brazil's national coach.
He scored three goals in that tournament, and made the headlines after celebrating his effort in the quarterfinal against the Netherlands by racing to the touchline and rocking his arms back and forth in honor of the recent birth of his third child.
That year Brazil became the first country to win the World Cup four times, having last triumphed in 1970. They managed it under the guidance of coach Carlos Alberto Parreira, who is now in charge of 2010 hosts South Africa.
Brazil won a dour final on penalties against Italy after the match ended 0-0 following extra-time, and Dunga has been criticized for instigating a similar tactical approach as he left out talented but faded stars such as Ronaldinho and Adriano from his 23-man World Cup squad.
But Bebeto told CNN's Pedro Pinto that Dunga deserves to be given time to impress, having opened the event with a hard-fought 2-1 win over North Korea ahead of Sunday's second Group G clash with the Ivory Coast at Johannesburg's Soccer City.
"I think that this squad is a very strong one. There already world champions in it: Lucio, Juan, Kaka, and others that already won the cup," he said.
"Experience is important. Dunga is working with a group of winners: they came top of their qualifying group, they won the Confederations Cup here in South Africa [in 2009] and they won Copa America. How it is possible to say something against this kind of squad?"
Bebeto agreed that there were similarities between Dunga's team and that of 1994.
"It's a hard-working team. It will be very hard to score against Brazil," he said.
"I think they have the best defense in the world, starting with our goalkeeper -- that makes them similar to the champions in '94.
"When we won in '94, we were already together for 40 days. And that helped a lot. So we need to be patient, and let Dunga do his job. Players like Kaka and Robinho can make the difference.
"Luis Fabiano too, even if he's not in peak condition, and Kaka as well. But a player like Kaka, if he feels good, oh my God..."
Kaka has struggled to find form after an injury-hit first season with Real Madrid in Spain, having left Italian club AC Milan where he had been hailed as the best player in the world.
Forward Robinho has regained the form that prompted English club Manchester City to break the British transfer record in 2008, but only after returning home on loan to Santos.
