Google claims, as reported by the Telegraph, Friday (6/8/2010), although many users are happy with all the possibilities offered by Google's Wave, but it is not comparable with the enthusiasm that occurs when the new wave.
"Google Wave gives you the possibility to do what can not be done by a web browser. We show the process of typing the letters in real time and the ability to drag-and-drop files from the desktop. Although the Wave has a loyal user but we can not seem Wave adoption up in accordance with our desire, as well as consumers. We plan to stop the development of Wave as a stand-alone product, "said Urs Hölzle Google's SVP of Operations.
Hölzle said that if Google still will allow the users to bid farewell to the Wave until the end of this year. Wave technology eventually will be buried in another Google project, and allow other developers to use it.
"Wave has taught us many things and we are proud to have worked with the team to explore ways out of their computer science skills," said Hölzle.
"We are very enthusiastic with the other innovations which we will develop in the future. We continue to innovate with the potential to advance the technology and the wider web," he said.
Although many in the tech industry who believed from the beginning if Google Wave has a poor performance, but on cessation beirta Wave by Google provide sufficient means surprises.
Google CEO Eric Schmidt tried to give support to the team and the users Wave. "Our policy is to try many things. We celebrate this failure. This means that we are a company that has a tolerance for failure. If not successful, no matter. We will learn more in the technology and will apply them to something new," he said.
