This new application can mark several locations in the cities mentioned in the lyrics of hip-hop songs. Also the stories behind the place and the songs that mention the names of these places, as quoted from Mashable, Monday (23/08/2010).
The map was created by Rap Rap Genius, a website on the history of hip-hop, follows the stories in the lyrics of hip-hop song, which works with Google Maps for its development.
Database of the most widely owned by the application of The Rap Map of New York is the city because the city has an important role in the history of hip-hop, then followed by the cities of other hip-hop such as Los Angeles and Chicago.
Currently the database in the application is still lacking a lot, considering that The Map Rap old this week since its release. So, this application will continue to be developed in the foreseeable future
It is expected that the hip-hop fans would be much increased knowledge through this application.
