Got Your Own Data Center, Better Twitter

CALIFORNIA - Twitter is planning to move to their own data centers this year. Mikrobloging Service wants to improve performance for their customers.

After a good start for this year, Twitter has been amended several times down from months of June, partly due to the increase in traffic during the World Cup but also for other reasons.

Moving to the data center itself might not solve every problem, but it is certainly very helpful, especially those associated with a user base in order to develop faster. The company says it has registered more than 300,000 new users per day year.

"Along with our users and their activities, Twitter presents some unique challenges and complex techniques," says Twitter on his blog, as quoted by Computer World, Thursday (07/22/2010).

"The data center is dedicated to Twitter has greater capacity to accommodate growth in users and activity on our services," he added.

This also will give more control to Twitter to network and configured system, and allow it to make adjustments more quickly as the infrastructure needs change.
